Early birds line up Friday morning for Saturday sale.
CINCINNATI - Reds fans who want to be part of Opening Day festivities can take part in a special "double play" Saturday morning.

The organization is selling new “Opening Day Double Play” package that include one ticket (either View Level or standing-room-only) to the March 31 season opener vs. the St. Louis Cardinals (4:10 pm) plus one Field Box ticket to any April game of the fan’s choice.
A limited number of the two-game package Opening Day tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Great American Ball Park ticket windows.
There are 1,000 View Level and 500 Standing-Room-Only tickets available as part of these packages.

There is a limit of four packages per person. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted. Last year’s tickets sold out in less than one hour.
Fans are not permitted to form a line for tickets prior to 9 a.m. Friday, at which time fans can get numbered wristbands to reserve their place in line. Those interested must be present to receive a wristband and may not hold spots in line for friends or family who are not in attendance.
Random checks will be performed to ensure fans stay on-site until the sale begins, the Reds announced.
No alcoholic beverages are permitted to be consumed on GABP property while ticket-buyers are waiting in line. Open flames and propane heaters are banned as well.
