GOODYEAR, Az. - John Popovich reporting from Reds Spring camp in Goodyear Arizona.

It was picture day bright and early on Saturday for the Reds. The players lined up, smiled and posed at several different stations starting at 7:15 a.m.

They would take pictures for Getty Images and the Associated Press, pictures that will be used in newspapers and websites. There was one photographer for Sony who was shooting 360 degrees images for their PlayStation game.

One special snapshot was taken on the practice field.  There are six Reds pitchers, six foot five inches or taller. They lined up side by side while Equipment Manager Bernie Stowe stood in front of them. Bernie is only five foot five. A nice contrast.

There was the appearance of a few notables at camp. Hall of Famer Joe Morgan was on the field watching practice alongside Eric Davis and Ken Griffey Sr. Joe plans to be in uniform on Sunday.

Reds President and CEO Bob Castellini was out at the practice fields for a couple of hours.
