'Hometown Hero' members of military to be honored by Reds, Cincinnati Bell

The Reds and Cincinnati Bell are teaming up to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces at every home game during the upcoming 2014 season.

As part of the “Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero" campaign, the organizations will recognize a member of one of the branches of the military at all 81 games. It's open to people in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Coast Guard.

“Cincinnati Bell is strong supporter of our local veterans and active military,” said Ted Torbeck, president and CEO, Cincinnati Bell. “We are proud to partner with the Reds once again to honor our Hometown Heroes for their service and sacrifice.”

Each Hometown Hero will receive four tickets to the game for which they are chosen.

Do you know a member of the military that deserves special recognition? You can submit nominations online at www.reds.com/heroes or visit any Cincinnati Bell-owned retail store.

The nomination period goes from April 1 to April 30.
