Cincinnati Reds: Homer Bailey gives up two-run homer in first spring start

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AP) -- Homer Bailey's first spring start after signing a six-year, $105-million deal didn't turn out the way he wanted.

Ryan Raburn hit a two-run home run off Bailey in the second inning to lead the Cleveland Indians to their second straight win over the Cincinnati Reds, 4-0. Friday.

Cleveland (2-1) also scored two runs off Robert Stephenson in his first major-league spring appearance. Stephenson was the Reds' first pick in the 2011 draft.

Reds' closer Aroldis Chapman struck out all three batters he faced.

The Reds (1-2) managed only three hits.

Jay Bruce and Ryan Ludwick hit consecutive singles in the fourth off Josh Tomlin, and Max Ramirez added a double in the ninth.
