Bronson Arroyo is going to Arizona this season but it won't be with the Reds this Spring Training.

It was announced Friday night that the free-agent right-hander has agreed to a two-year deal with the Diamondbacks, a club source confirmed to MLB.com writer Cash Kruth.

According to the report on MLB.com, the contract is worth $9.5 million a year and comes with an $11 million club option for 2016 or a $4.5 million buyout.

Officials from the Reds organization weren't available for comment.

Arroyo, who turns 37 on Feb. 24, has spent the past eight years of his 14-year career in Cincinnati, posting an ERA below 4.00 in four of the past five. Last year he went 14-12 with a 3.79 ERA in 32 starts for the Reds.

In addition to being consistent during his career, Arroyo has also had one of the game's most durable starting pitchers despite his slight frame. He has made at least 29 starts in each of the past 10 seasons while also working at least 200 innings in eight of the last nine.

Arroyo, who's never spent time on the disabled list, owns a career record of 138-127 with a 4.19 ERA with the Reds, Pirates and Red Sox.

The Reds report to their Spring Training facility in Goodyear, Ariz on Feb. 14.
