COLUMBIA TWP., Ohio - After years at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, the AVPvolleyball tour is moving to a new location in ColumbiaTownship.
The volleyball tour made the announcement in a releaseFriday.
The new location for the September tournament will be HahanaBeach. It's a venue being built on Wooster Pike just east ofMariemont near the Newtown Bridge.
Despite the lack of an actual beach in the area, Cincinnati hasdone well hosting the event over the years making it one of themost successful stops on the AVP tour.
Hahana Beach will include a restaurant, bar, and six volleyballcourts. There will be bleacher seating for 2,700.
The venue hopes to capitalize on the growing popularity ofvolleyball and how it's now become a Division I college sport.
