Lucas Frazier once thought about calling it quits, but he realized after the amazing success of the band’s first album, “White Cream Soda," that there was no turning his back to music.
Frazier says the band’s current project, "POP GOES THE EVIL presents Love Stained Heart," is a bit of a prequel to their original album, “telling an important story about what happens before you break free and are able to be yourself.”
Frazier says the band is proud to create music that celebrates people coming together, being themselves, and singing along, allowing listeners the opportunity to let loose and feel passionate about issues that truly matter.
He says the success of the album will also lead to a tour, which the band hopes will help familiarize others with the Cincinnati music scene.
Why should people support POP GOES THE EVIL Presents Love Stained Heart?
Lucas Frazier says: “People should support our project because we are only asking for what we need. No hidden profits are being made. This money will strictly be used for the physical production of the album. For just a $10 pledge, you will get a physical copy of the album for free, which is how much it would cost anyway at a show or online. We're a band that's trying to make people feel good and see something in themselves that they hadn't before.”

After three years of playing with multi-platinum band Blessid Union of Souls , David Lessing is ready to launch a solo career with his upcoming release titled, "The Restoration Project." Lessing says the album is filled with songs derived from his own triumphs, failures, joys and pains. He hopes listeners will relate to the lyrics, realizing that regardless of circumstance, no one is alone in a situation.
Lessing says anyone can benefit from a positive message of love and hope, and that we are all just, “works in progress," who can only grow stronger through sharing our experiences with others.
Why should people support The Restoration Project?
David Lessing says: “We can easily turn on the radio and find songs that make us feel good momentarily, or offer a temporary escape from our everyday lives, because the song "has a good beat" or is "fun." There's nothing wrong with that at all. But, I want to offer something different. I want to release a project that connects on a deeper level and makes people think, act and hopefully change. I want listeners to find or experience something maybe they never have: faith, hope and love. Because I believe those are the three things that anyone can build their life upon. But first, they have to know what that truly means. I hope they find that in "The Restoration Project.”
