FORT THOMAS, Ky. - The Fort Thomas Military and Community Museum is almost ready to open the Beverly Hills Supper Club exhibit.
The exhibit is to commemorate the history of the Beverly Hills Supper Club from its origin as a gambling house, all the way to the deadly fire on May 28, 1977 that claimed 165 lives.
The exhibit is a result of Northern Kentucky University graduate students and workers at the museum.
"Great quote that I heard, somebody said that way before Vegas, this was the place to be in the nation. It was a great entertainment venue," said Jodie McFarland with NKU.
The exhibit includes several outfits warn by those attending the supper club, and even a firefighter's jacket and helmet worn during the fire.
The exhibit will open to the public Sunday.
