CINCINNATI, Ohio - Ohio First District Congressman, Steve Chabot introduced a controversial Section 8 Bill on Wednesday. The Bill imposes time limits and work requirements for most recipients of Section 8 housing vouchers.
The bill would also give veterans a better chance to get the housing assistance.
Congressman Chabot's bill would set a five year limit for recipients. It would also require those 18 and older to work at least 20 hours per week.
Democrats that believe Section 8 is a successful initiative are likely to oppose this bill.
