LONDON, Ky. (AP) -- A mother is facing charges after police say she left her 10-year-old daughter on a Kentucky roadside after the two argued.
Media report that the Laurel County Sheriff's Office charged 30-year-old Jeanette Oleary with abandonment, wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Oleary told deputies she left the child for only a couple of minutes on Monday night, but witnesses say it was longer.
The girl was placed with relatives. It wasn't clear whether Oleary has an attorney.
