RIPLEY COUNTY, Ind. -- An early morning crash Friday involving three vehicles sent two people to Margaret Mary Hospital, according to the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
Karen Demaree, 40, of Osgood, was northbound on S.R. 129 driving her Dodge, preparing to go west on S.R. 48 when she was rear-ended around 6:45 a.m., authorities said.
The impact of the crash pushed the Dodge forward, where it was struck head-on by another vehicle, according to a crash report.
Three people were injured in the crash -- to needed medical attention.
Deputies said one of the drivers transported to the hospital was suffering from a head laceration.
He was not wearing his seat belt, authorities said.
