KNOX, Ind. -- Police arrested 17 people at an underage drinking party in Knox Sunday morning.
Police responded to the 1100 block of E. John Street for a complaint of underage drinking.
Police heard loud music and saw a young woman standing outside of a barn holding a beer bottle. They entered the barn to find several young people consuming alcohol.
Officers cited 17 people on preliminary charges of illegal alcohol consumption. Three of the 17 arrested were under the age of 18.
James A. Hudgens, 19, was charged with illegal consumption and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
