Indiana brothers charged with murder in shooting of Indiana National Guard veteran

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two Indiana brothers were formally charged Monday with murder in the Dec. 4 fatal shooting of a veteran.

Tryon Kincade, 19, and Tyshaune Kincade, 18, were each charged with two counts of murder and robbery Monday, officials with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The brothers were arrested early Friday morning for their suspected roles in the fatal shooting of Sgt. 1st Class James Vester.

Vester, 32, of Lizton, Ind., was killed when he answered a Craigslist ad to buy an iPad at the Wyckford Commons apartment complex.

Vester was an Iraq War veteran with 12 years of service in the Indiana National Guard.
