TOLEDO, Ohio - Two ring-tailed lemurs born at the Toledo Zoo are ready for their public debut.
Zoo visitors will get their first chance to see the lemurs on Saturday.
The two were born a week apart earlier this month. Their mothers are 6-year-old twin sisters.
The zoo says the genders of the newborns aren't known yet but that they're both doing well.
Ring-tailed lemurs are listed as a vulnerable species in their native Madagascar. The zoo participates in a plan to promote the survival of the species.
