CHILLICOTHE, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities say a fire severely damaged a warehouse in a central Ohio industrial park, but there were no immediate reports of any injuries.
Firefighters from more than a dozen departments responded to the blaze that began Wednesday afternoon near Chillicothe in Ross County. That's about 50 miles south of Columbus.
Crews fought the blaze with water trucked in from elsewhere because of a lack of fire hydrants in the immediate area.
Ross County sheriff's Sgt. Mont Steele told The Chillicothe Gazette the fire apparently started when a burning piece of cardboard flew into the warehouse in the Schooley Station Industrial Park.
A sheriff's dispatcher says the fire was reported about 3 p.m., and firefighters were still battling the blaze hours later.
