CINCINNATI - An Amber Alert is canceled after authorities found a 10-year-old boy abducted early Friday morning.
Officials canceled the Amber Alert at about 5:55 a.m. after they found missing 10-year-old Jordan Johnson and the suspect who took him, 32-year-old Timothy Conaster. Authorities said they found the pair safe after the child went missing from his home north of Dayton, Ohio.
Officials say they believe Conaster, who was armed with a knife, took 10-year-old Jordan Johnson from his home in the 4800 block of Neptune Road in Huber Heights at about 12:50 a.m. Friday. Police say Conaster left with Johnson after a domestic violence dispute with the child's mother.
Authorities said there was reason to believe Conaster and Johnson may be in the Hamilton County area. Officials have not yet released information about if there is a relationship between Johnson and Conaster.
The search intensified after officials found out that Conaster had a history of drug use and violent tendencies and was armed with a knife, according to police. Johnson is bipolar and may harm himself or others, police added.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
