CLEVELAND - The man charged with kidnapping and rape in the case of three missing women who were found alive at his Cleveland home was on suicide watch Thursday morning.
ABC News reports they were told by the public defender for Ariel Castro that he was placed under the notice in the medical unit of the jail.
Castro entered court for his arraignment in a blue jumpsuit, handcuffed, and kept his head down while continuing to stare at the floor. His bond was set at $2 million on each case.
He will now be transferred to Cuyahoga County Jail, according to his public defender.
