The United States has 49 new citizens living in the Tri-State after a ceremony Friday morning in Kenton County.
Federal Judge Amul Thapar presided over the naturalization ceremony at Saint Pius Elementary School in Edgewood.
Kentucky's Secretary of State Alison Lundgren-Grimes and Congressman Thomas Massie attended the ceremony and congratulated those being recognized on becoming citizens.
