Marissa Raisor, who works at the Hooters on Riverboat Row in Newport, was crowned the winner Thursday night after competing against 60 'Hooters Girls' from around the world.
The17th Annual International Swimsuit Pageantwas held at The Joint at the Hard Rock Casino & Hotel in Las Vegas. The women competed for over $150,000 in cash and prizes.
Since 1996, Hooters has held the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant, a competition of Hooters employees from around the world. In 2010, LeAngela Davis of Columbus, Ohio, was the first African-American woman to win the Miss Hooters pageant.
