Kentucky State Police search for escaped inmate from the Keeton Correctional Facility

PADUCAH, Ky. -- Kentucky State Police are searching for a man who reportedly escaped from the Keeton Correctional Facility early Saturday.

Matthew L. Wills, of Newport, Ky., was last accounted for at the prison around 11:30 p.m. on Friday. Around 2:20 a.m. Saturday, the correctional facility contacted the police to report the 25-year-old as escaped.

Wills is described by police as a black male, 5 ft. 11 inches tall and 175 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a red T-shirt.

Wills was serving a first degree burglary charge that occurred in Campbell County.
