Kenton County Public Library going smoke-free

The Kenton County Public Library is going smoke-free.

Starting Monday, April 1, smoking and tobacco use anywhere on the library's property will be prohibited.

The library has branches in Covington, Independence and Erlanger.

The board of trustees for the library says it decided to become a smoke-free campus in order to promote a healthier environment for all who visit.
