GLENCOE, Ky. - A 23-year-old man is scheduled to be in court Monday morning after causing a deadly accident more than a year ago.
Hunter LeGrand, of Warsaw, stuck a pole and a mailbox before crossing the center line on U.S. 127 near Tapering Pointe Road in Glencoe, according to police. LeGrand's vehicle then collided with an ambulance transporting John Little, 59, of Dry Ridge.
The ambulance overturned and landed on its roof. Little was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
LeGrand was extricated from his vehicle before he was flown to the hospital.
Police suspected LeGrand was under the influence of drugs when the accident occurred.
Attorney's handling LeGrand's case will be debating what evidence can be used in trial starting Monday at 10:30 a.m.
