ALEXANDRIA, Ky. - The Campbell County Sheriff's Office is preparing to open a new satellite office in Alexandria.
The new office, which is located at 8330 West Main Street in Alexandria, will officially open Monday, April 29 at 11 a.m.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Monday to help celebrate the opening. Refreshments will be provided at the event, which is open to the public.
The Alexandria office will provide the same services as the Sheriff's main office in Newport, according to a press release.
The list of services will include: vehicle inspections, concealed carry permits (including photo services), fingerprint services, service of both civil and criminal court documents as well as tax collection beginning the 2013 tax season.
The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m. The office will be closed Saturday and Sunday.
Extended hours until 6 p.m. will be available the first and last Thursday of each month, mirroring the existing schedule already in place for the county and circuit clerk's offices that are housed at the location.
