Northbound lanes of I-71 reopened in Turtlecreek Township after semi crash

TURTLECREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- The northbound lanes of I-71 have reopened after a crash near state Route 123.

Warren County dispatchers said the crash happened Thursday morning near Turtlecreek Township.

The Ohio State Patrol said two commercial vehicles collided at about 9:40 a.m. The crash happened south of the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge.

Troopers had to shut down the highway in order for a medical helicopter to land. Dispatchers said they did not have any information on injuries.

Police have since opened the left lane to traffic but delays should be expected.

No other details have been released.
