Preparing for prom can be a long and tedious process, and for the three Sycamore High School juniors, it's something they've planned for all year.
The girls, Samantha Weiss, Carly Lefton and Sara Constand, are all on student council and helped plan the event from the selection of the music (with school administrator approval) to the lights and the decor.
But getting ready for the prom proved to be a full day's work. Lefton and Constand started at 11 a.m. by picking up the boutineers for their dates. Meanwhile, Weiss headed over to Salon Concepts off Field Ertel Road to get her hair done.
The process continued when they paid a early afternoon visit to the Savannah Center in West Chester Township to make a last-minute check on how the prom's decor was shaping up. Afterward, it was time for Constand and Lefton to get their hair done.
There wasn't much these girls left to chance. All three reconvened to get their makeup done by Nicole Kitchen, of Mary Kay Cosmetics later in the day before heading off for pictures at Swaim Park.
