CINCINNATI -- A Lima, Ohio man accused of a July home invasion and robbery in Amberley Village has been found guilty.

Raj Houston, 21, was found guilty Thursday on all 13 counts against him, including kidnapping, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of weapons while under disability, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery.

Houston, along with Darian Lawrence were both arrested and charged with forcing their way into the home of an elderly couple on July 11, assaulting them, kidnapping the 80-year-old man who lived there and stealing personal belongings and a car from the residence.

Lawrence was arrested July 23, and police found two weapons and stolen property from the couple at his home.

Houston was arrested at his girlfriend's Allen County residence in August. During his arrest, officials found stolen property from the home invasion and robbery as well as the handgun allegedly used during the incident.

Houston and Lawrence knew each other from their time incarcerated together in juvenile detention facilities during a two-year span.

Lawrence faces 12 counts of charges, including aggravated robbery, kidnapping, aggravated burglary and possession of weapons while under disability.
