Police: Williamsburg man hits another man with truck

WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio - A Williamsburg man was arrested on a charge felonious assault after hitting another man with his pick-up truck.

The Brown County Sheriff's Office reports Fred Brockman Jr., 35, of Maple Grove Road,  hit Justin Tucker, 28, of Crosstown Road in Williamsburg at a residence on Crosstown Road Saturday evening. The department received a call about the incident at 9:40 p.m.

Tucker was transported to Mercy Hospital in Mt. Orab before being flown by medical helicopter to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life threatening injuries. The sheriff's office reported on Tuesday that Tucker is listed in critical condition.

Deputies arrested Brockman for the assault after interviewing him and witnesses on the scene.

Brockman was released on Monday after posting bond that was set at $50,000.

Brockman could face more charges at a later date.
