Officer-involved crash in Brown County

MOUNT ORAB, Ohio - Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a police cruiser in Brown County Friday afternoon.

The incident happened in the 400 block of West Main Street in front of a Dollar General store around 11:30 a.m.

According to officials at the scene, a male officer was heading westbound on West Main Street to respond to a call when a vehicle pulled in front of the cruiser. 

Police say the collision caused heavy damage to both vehicles.

The driver of the vehicle and the officer, who have not been identified at this time, suffered minor injuries and were transported to the Mount Orab Medical Center.

No other details were released at this time.
