Motorcyclist killed in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ohio - A fatal crash remains under investigation after a motorcyclist was killed in Goshen Monday evening.

The incident happened on Gibson Road at approximately 6:15 p.m.

According to a preliminary investigation, Andrew B. Salyer, 21, of Milford, was operating a 2000 Harley Davidson Sportster southbound on Gibson Road. Police say Salyer lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected from the motorcycle.

Salyer was transported to Bethesda North Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say Salyer was not wearing a safety helmet at the time of the crash.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the crash, according to authorities.

The crash remains under investigation by the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway.
