Medical helicopter called after 3 car pileup in Clermont County involving pregnant woman

AMELIA, Ohio - AirCare was called to the scene of a three car accident in Clermont County Monday afternoon.

Police said three vehicles were involved in the accident that occurred at about 1:30 p.m. at 1264 State Route 125, across from Dunkin Donuts.

Four people were injured in the crash, including a pregnant woman, according to officials.

A woman who was coming out of a McDonald's restaurant with two passengers was initially hit by an elderly woman heading east on 125 who ran a red light, authorities said.

The elderly woman's car spun, causing one of the vehicles to smack into a car with the pregnant woman, who was being driven west on State Route 125.

AirCare transported the pregnant woman to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to police.

Officials have not released the victims names or any other details at this time.
