GOSHEN, Ohio - Police arrested a man and a woman for allegedly trafficking drugs while in a vehicle with six children that ranged in age from 3 months to 9 years old.
The incident was part of an ongoing investigation in Goshen Township, according to police.
On Saturday, May 25, police say Avery Pasley, 22, was driven to Goshen by Katryna Goins, 25, to allegedly sell crack cocaine. Police pulled Goins' vehicle over during a traffic stop and officers determined she was driving under the influence, according to a press release.
Police say they also discovered Goins had six children that ranged in age from 3 months to 9 years old in her vehicle at the time of the traffic stop. According to police, the 3-month-old was the only child properly restrained in the vehicle while the others were unrestrained with some sitting on the floorboard.
Goins was charged with three counts of child endangering, OVI, child restraint and permitting drug abuse.
Pasley was charged with three counts of child endangering, child restraint and trafficking drugs.
Goins and Pasley, both of Cincinnati, remain in the Clermont County Jail.
Police say the children are now in the care of 241-KIDS.
