Southbound I-71 reopens at the Lytle Tunnel after accident involving semi-truck, another vehicle

CINCINNATI - All lanes of southbound Interstate 71 are open at the Lytle Tunnel after an accident involving a semi-truck shut down traffic for nearly three hours.

The accident took place after 10 p.m. Friday in the Lytle Tunnel on I-71. Officials closed the roadway until 12:53 a.m. in order to investigate and clear the wreckage.

Specific details surrounding the crash were not immediately available but at least one semi-truck and another vehicle were involved, according to law enforcement officials.

It's unclear if anyone was injured in the wreck.
