Public input sought on Brent Spence Project

COVINGTON, Ky. - This month you can get a look at the updated plans for the Brent Spence Bridge project.

At the meetings, public leaders will explain the pros and cons of each alternative plan. Covington leaders will also discuss the benefits that each plan could provide to the city and its drivers.

On Wednesday April 11, Covington leaders will outline some of the issues in the current Alternative 1 plan in a public meeting at city hall. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. All comments and questions that KYTC receives at the Public Meetings become part of the official project record.

There will also be two additional meetings to review the Alternative 1 Brent Spence Plan. The first meeting is set for April 24 at Longworth Hall. The second meeting is April 25 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center.

Some of the current issues that city leaders are concerned about include the plan's impact on access to Goebel pool, Devou Park, 5th Street, and the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge.
