MASON, Ohio -
A portion of Western Row Road in Mason was shut down Sunday evening after police received reports from homeowners who thought they were being shot at.
Mason police said they received a report that indicated two or three people were shooting at a residence located at 390 Western Row Rd. with "large guns" at about 9:23 p.m.
However, after police arrived and checked out the area it was determined that only rocks were thrown at the home.
Officers said the rocks caused damage to some windows at the home but no one was injured.
Police shut down Western Row Road between Mason-Montgomery and Snider roads while they searched the area. The roads were reopened before 11 p.m.
Officials said they identified one person who may have been involved in the disturbance. A warrant was issued in his name on trespassing and criminal damaging.
