CINCINNATI - A looming City Council vote on a pension amendment is drawing the ire of a group of city workers and retirees.

The group of workers, retirees and allies said they will hold a news conference Wednesday to discuss the proposed amendment.

The meeting will take place in front of City Hall at 801 Plum St. immediately after the City Council meeting. The council is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m.

The group claims at the amendment would cost taxpayers too much and negatively impact city workers who retire.
