The five Butler County bars seeking to expand their licenses to serve liquor on Sundays have been counted in Tuesday's election.
In Hamilton, voters approved Terry B’s proposal. 63.81 percent voted yes, 36.19 percent voted no.
Terry’s will start serving beer, wine and mixed beverages/liquor starting at 11 a.m. on Sundays.
Also in Hamilton, voters said yes for Shenanigans Bar and Grill on Pleasant Avenue. 56.39 percent said yes, while 43.61 percent said no.
Shenanigans will start serving wine, mixed beverages/liquor at 10 a.m.
Over in Middletown, voters approved The Draft Bar & Grille’s proposal to serve wine and liquor starting at 11 a.m. and going until midnight on Sundays. 80.49 percent voted yes, 19.51 percent voted no.
Voters approved The Wine List’s proposal in West Chester. 66.43 percent voted yes, 33.57 percent voted no.
The Wine List will now be able to be able to serve liquor starting at 10 a.m.
Finally, the voters denied the proposal of Supermercado Garcia on East Avenue in Hamilton. 47.56 percent voted yes, 52.44 percent voted no.
They were seeking to sell wine and mixed beverages starting at 11 a.m. on Sundays.
