MONROE, Ohio - A word of warning to drivers along I-75 in Monroe, don't slowdown to stare at the former King of Kings statue at the Solid RockChurch.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has troopers along the highwayready to ticket people who stop or slow down to take pictures ofthe burnt remains of the statue.
Officers were issuing just warnings Tuesday until the traffichazard became worse.
The giant statue of Jesus burnt down after it was struck bylightning during the severe weather that passed through theTri-State on Monday.
The church says it does plan to rebuild the statue.
