CINCINNATI - A man is in police custody Tuesday morning after he passed out drunk, leaving two children he was supposed to be watching to fend for themselves.
Cincinnati's District Three police arrested 28-year-old Jose Delgado Monday night at an apartment located at 2811 Warsaw Avenue in Price Hill after he got drunk, passed out and neglected to small children.
Officials say while he was passed out, one of the babies he was supposed to be watching ingested Tylenol while the other child was seen walking naked in a parking lot.
When officials responded to the apartment to arrest him, he came to and became angry with officials. Delgado was so unruly that officials said they had to use a Taser on him, according to court paperwork. In fact, a fireman who responded to the scene had to help the officials get Delgado into custody, according to a police report.
Delgado is charged with two counts of child endangering and resisting arrest. There is no word yet on the condition of the two children.
Officials have not released any additional details at this time.
