CINCINNATI -- Halloween may not involve the intensive food prep of Thanksgiving or hours of stringing lights at Christmas, but that doesn't mean you couldn't use a little pick-me-up after (during?) hours of handing out candy to tiny ghosts and goblins.
That's why the fine folks behind the Vivino wine app have paired a dozen wines with popular trick-or-treat candy, following the success of their Girl Scout cookie pairings earlier this year. They've even included extensive tasting notes from wine experts and suggest particular brands to try.
