NORWOOD, Ohio - Police in Norwood are conducting a death investigation after a body was found on a city street.
Hamilton County dispatchers said police were called to the intersection of Elm Avenue and Smith Road at about 11 a.m. Saturday in response to a call of a body in the street.
Traffic was being diverted in the area while police conducted their investigation.
9 On Your Side photographers who were at the scene reported that there was a body with a tarp over it when they arrived.
Officers have not released any details about the incident but did say that the body had been sent to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office for examination.
No new information from the coroner is expected to be released until Monday.
