GREENHILLS, Ohio - A non-profit organization called Mommy Has Breast Cancer held its first fundraiser at Winton Woods Park called the "I Love Mom" 5K Walk To Fight Breast Cancer on Saturday morning.

The mission of the group is to serve local women and families affected by breast cancer. The organization offers a variety of services including meal delivery, housekeeping, childcare and transportation. Volunteers want to relieve the stress that moms face in day to day life so they can instead focus their energy on beating breast cancer.

Cheryl Jennings of Colerain Township is a breast cancer survivor and a mother of three who utilized the meal delivery services. "I went through aggressive chemotherapy and had some surgeries and my energy level was so low and I was so tired all the time and the smell of food was not good," said Jennings. "So it helped to have the food delivered to my door."

Jennings is now a year out of her recovery and now volunteers for the organization. She encourages other local moms to do the same. For more information about Mommy Has Breast Cancer, click here .
