President Obama and VP Biden plan to visit Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio - President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will be speaking in Dayton, Ohio Tuesday.

President Obama and Vice President Biden will deliver remarks at a grassroots event at Triangle Park located at 2500 Ridge Avenue, where they will "continue to lay out their plan to move the country forward and discuss what's at stake for the American people in this election."

The event is is scheduled to begin at around 3:50 p.m.

The event will be free and open to the public, but tickets will be required for entrance. Parties interested in attending will be able to pick up one ticket per person. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Obama for America announced Thursday that President Obama will deliver remarks at an event in Delray, Fla. Tuesday, Oct. 23 following the final Presidential debate and then travel to Dayton, Ohio for a grassroots event with Vice President Biden later that day. 

The vice president will be campaigning in Ohio for three straight days from Oct. 22 through Oct. 24. On Monday, the vice president will deliver remarks in Canton, Ohio at Deuble Gymnasium at J. Babe Stearn Community Center and in Lorain, Ohio at Lorain High School. On Tuesday, Vice President Biden is scheduled to deliver remarks at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio in addition to his visit to southwest Ohio.

Additional details on the vice president's events on Wednesday are forthcoming.

Tickets for the event in Dayton will be made available beginning Saturday, Oct. 20 at 2:00 p.m.
