If you are a fan of McDonald's, the fast food giant is getting rid of some of the items on its current menu, perhaps to make room for new items.

The company announced Thursday it will stop offering its fruit and walnut salad and Chicken Selects. It is also considering getting rid of the Angus Third Pounder.

The move comes after McDonald's reported its first decline in monthly same-store sales in more than 9 years in October 2012.

According to the Chicago Tribune, McDonald's could add a McWrap sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, grilled or fried chicken and a choice of sauce. The company has also been testing chicken wings.
