Luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz is taking steps to get people who have been in an accident out of their vehicle quicker.
Mercedes will put high-tech barcodes in its vehicles to help emergency responders rescue accident victims.
Paramedics and firefighters will be able to use their smartphones to read the codes and find the best way to free injured people from damaged cars.
The codes will include information on how to pry the vehicle apart in order to reach an accident victim. The carmaker says the quicker people are out of their vehicle, the quicker they can receive medical treatment.
