Arizona's big Powerball winner has finally come forward to claim the $192 million cash prize, according to Arizona Lottery officials.
The $587.5 million Powerball jackpot was the largest in history and will be shared between the Arizona winner and the winners in Missouri who already came forward to collect their winnings.
Arizona Lottery said the winner has chosen to take the cash option, yielding a $192 million prize before taxes.
At 3 p.m. Friday, Arizona Lottery executives are holding a press conference at the Arizona Biltmore regarding the winner and the historical jackpot.
The winner has declined an invitation to participate in the conference or be named, though other information about the winner is expected to be released during the conference.
Missouri Powerball winners Mark and Cindy Hill came forward Nov. 30 to claim their share of the $384.7 million prize.
