CLEVELAND - There may not be as many eggs and jelly beans in your Easter basket as you expect this year.
According to CNN, Americans are expected to keep their budgets tight this holiday season over economic concerns.
Households will spend on average just over $145 on Easter. That's about $17.2 billion total, which is flat compared to also year.
Most of the money, $5.4 billion, will go towards the holiday meal.
Just over $3 billion will be spent on Easter outfits and clothes for spring.
Americans will spend $2.5 billion on that all important candy, and the rest will be spent on gifts, flowers, décor, and cards.
