Mason High School band performs at Carnegie Hall

NEW YORK - The Mason High School band was one of two bands selected in thecountry to perform at Carnegie Hall Friday night.

The 124-member band played eight pieces in front of a capacitycrowd at the world famous New York music hall.

Mason was invited to Carnegie Hall after a campaign by students,teachers and parents. Students made a video tape of theirperformance, hired a publicist and raised money.
