BURLINGTON, Ky. - A 29-year-old man is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday morning after he was found guilty of raping a 14-year-old girl a year ago in Northern Kentucky.
Joshua Crosthwaite is scheduled to appear in a Boone County courtroom to be sentenced after a jury found him guilty in September of raping a 14-year-old girl while they were both at a party in Union, Ky., on Nov. 25, 2011.
The jury found Crosthwaite guilty of one county of rape and one count of sexual abuse.
Authorities say Crosthwaite provided the girl with the "morning after pill" the next day. He was released on bond on Jan. 26, 2012.
The jury recommended a sentence of seven years in jail.
