AUBURN, Mich. - A Michigan man who won $2 million in the lottery is still using food stamps. Leroy Fick took home the large cash prize on the lottery show "Make Me Rich."  However, a Michigan television station discovered that the Auburn man still swipes his electronic food stamp debit card, known as a Bridge card, at grocery stores.

He said the state Department of Human Services told him he could continue to use the tax-payer-funded card.  "They took half of it", said Fick indicating the I.R.S. "I even called them and asked about the Bridge card and she said 'you can go ahead and keep it if you want to'", Fick said.

"If you're going to sit there and try to make me feel bad, you aren't going to do it. It ain't gonna happen," said Fick.

Fick's lawyer says his client has done nothing wrong since he notified the Department of Human Services. The state says it is now investigating.
