CINCINNATI -- A woman was arrested Wednesday for victimizing residents in Hyde Park by making them think they were donating to a charity, but was pocketing the money herself.
Cincinnati police say Andrea Hollis was allegedly telling people she was collecting money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The charity didn't see any of the money and police say Hollis wasn't affiliated with the foundation at all.
Hollis was charged Wednesday by Cincinnati police at District 2's Hyde Park office with three counts of theft.
The crimes date back to August of 2009.
Police say Hollis got away with at least $50 in cash from 3 victims.
